Which ingridient in Nail Polish top coats makes the top coat last long?

I'm doing a science project on which nail polish top coats work better than others, and to form an educate hypothesis I need to find out which ingridient makes some top coats work better than others.Which ingridient in Nail Polish top coats makes the top coat last long?
it is just the mixture of products

the ratio of the products make it work

not just one ingredent

try nail polishes with different amounts of different ingredents remember on the ingredent list that the higher in ranking of the ingredent is how much it is used so pay attention :) ie.

acetone, salt, sugar, water, dog food

acetone is used most-dog food least

and no these arent acctual ingredents just things off the top of my headWhich ingridient in Nail Polish top coats makes the top coat last long?
