Im wondering if its alright if i paint my nails without a base coat? Im too scared it'll wreck or something, I'm probably gonna remove them 2 weeks later or until i can get a base coat, what do you reckon?Painting my nails without base coat?
You should be OK as long as the polish isn't a really dark shade. But, it is always best to wear a good quality basecoat because they not only help prevent staining, but they also act as a sort of double sided tape and give the polish something to adhere to making the polish last longer. Remember that basecoat and clear polish are two different things. Clear polish is not recommended for use as a basecoat because it often yellows nails just as easily as weaing no basecoat will do. The yellowing is not usually permanent, and can be gotten rid of fairly easily - usually. You can try to gently buff it off as long as it is nothing more than just surface staining. You can use denture tablets and soak your nails in that for a few minutes. Also, soaking your nails in freshly squeezed lemon juice helps to whiten and brighten nails as does a diluted solution of bleach and water.Painting my nails without base coat?

It's alright. 2 weeks should be fine. Just do not leave nail polish on without base coat for too long because it will make your nails yellow.
i change my nail color about every week and never do the base coat thing..ive never had a problem..my nails always come out great..
