I have always wondered if they are both the same or are they totally different?Whats the difference between Base coat and nail enamel?
nail enamel is just another word for nail polish. A base coat is a nail polish used as a base for the nail polish. For instance, when getting a manicure, a manicurist will first apply a base coat (clear) then the regular nail polish (enamel).
